Speaker: Kate Bergeron

Kate Bergeron – VP of Hardware, Apple Inc.  Since starting at Apple in 2002, Bergeron leads mechanical engineering teams during system and component level design and validation of Apple products including Audio, Macintosh, iPad, Soft Goods, Product Packaging and Retail Display, and the Product Realization Lab.  Since starting at Apple in 2002, Bergeron has had experience directing both Macintosh hardware engineering and Macintosh mobile product design.   She is a visible champion of women in engineering and helps guide the company focus on women and leadership more broadly.   She is also a stand-out competitive ultimate frisbee player and coach.
