Better Health

Health care prices are exploding. Mental health issues are on the rise. The older adult population is increasing. The growth in patient-generated data threatens to overwhelm the health system. Yet, the increasing scale and complexity of medical care is understudied. We research and design socio-technical systems that can support affordable, personalized, and integrated health care. Our goal is to improve health and well-being, reduce health care costs, develop better preventive efforts, broaden involvement of caretakers, and produce increasingly collaborative health systems.
